CSR activities Returning Aquatic Life to Nature

On 8^th May 2026, NRS Logistics (Thailand) Co., Ltd. organized a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity by releasing 100,000 banana prawns into the sea at Mu Koh Phetra National Park (Ao Nun), Satun Province.

 

This activity was carried out in collaboration with the Satun Marine Fisheries Research and Development Center, led by Director Mr. Prapat Kaewmanee, and Fisheries Checkpoint Management Center Region 9 (Satun), led by Director Mr. Tawan Khongsi.

 

The CSR project, “Returning Aquatic Life to Nature,” aims to restore marine ecosystems, promote sustainable fisheries, increase aquatic resources, and support local fishing communities. The 100,000 banana prawns released during this activity were generously provided by the Satun Marine Fisheries Research and Development Center.

During the event, NRS gained valuable knowledge from fisheries officers about the important role of banana prawns in coastal and marine ecosystems. Banana prawns serve both as consumers and as a food source for other marine species within the food chain. They are also considered an indicator of ecosystem health, as areas where banana prawns thrive generally have good water quality and suitable environmental conditions.

This activity helped raise awareness about the importance of conserving aquatic species and encouraged responsible stewardship of marine resources for future generations.
